Replaced the flush valve and fill valve of the toilet in the master bedroom's bathroom. I can't quite get rid of all that black rubber gunk from the fingernails.

Already done the liquid dishwashing detergent. The skin is clean. But, the nails are still dark. I'll just wait for tonight's shower.

I'm also smelling kimchi powder coming out of the pores of my neck. I ate half a (big) jar of kimchi yesterday.

do what the surgeons do, sir.
use a soft brush and brush over and under the nails.
you can try a soft toothbrush, or, if you know a hospital person, ask for one of their discarded brushes.
but i will warn you. it may not be easy and comfortable, the first time.

No need. I hand-washed the dishes and my hands are clean. The black gunk spots are gone. Of course, now, the kids look suspiciously at the dishes I just washed. ;)

when i was younger, after working under the car half the day, i just take a soap-y bath. i make sure i run my fingers thru my hair.

but working with vulca-seal... that takes a bit more time.. like several days.

    Double purpose. hehe.

Nice of you to wash the dishes. Men in our family never wash the dishes (except when they cook). I don't mind this though, because I believe men cook better than women

I usually do the messy stuff (dishes/pans and toilets) when I'm home and the wife is at work. The kids do the non-messy stuff such as vacuuming and dusting.

I also do all the yard work. No biggie. I grew up doing chores. In fact, I felt guilty having a maid in our household when I lived in the PH. ;)

You only have daughters? So that means you'll be doing the yard work/manly duties for life :P

Hope you don't live in an area with snow. I always hear my family talk about how hard it is to clear/shovel snow. Also older family members and friends who had close to a heart attack shoveling snow.
