Nag wo-work ito. Bale iyung Yahoo ID na ma-ke-create mo on the original/main yahoo server "yahoo.com" will be replicated on the servers sa cn.mail.yahoo.com with an English interface since ma-sasama iyung mga settings that came from the original server.
Right after kasi dun sa step na:
"> 3. Activate mail account at cn.mail.yahoo.com (you get 100Mb storage
> pa muna *don't worry*), then sign-out"
May magpa-prompt na page na magtatanong syo if you want to transfer the existing settings from the main yahoo.com server, if done so, magke-create na nang email account on the yahoo.com.cn server na 1Gb ang laki.
Getting a 1Gb Yahoo China Account (without learning Chinese)

2. Clear cookies,
3. Activate mail account at cn.mail.yahoo.com (you get 100Mb storage
pa muna *don't worry*), then sign-out

Upgrading to 1Gb Yahoo China Account
1. Sign-in to Yahoo Messenger, add a contact, sign-out
2. Go back to cn.mail.yahoo.com (all pages would be in Chinese)
3. Click the 1G orange label *sa may baba nung page*
4. Type-in your Yahoo ID and Password *yung form sa baba ng page*
5. You'll go to two more Chinese pages (Just click the bottom
centered label in the page)
6. Viola! Your upgraded to 1Gig and your default is English with Free
POP3
Sign-up with English as default language:
1. Sign-up for a Yahoo ID only (do not associate ID with a Yahoo.com email address) *uncheck nyo yung automatic create ng e-mail address*
==============================
Iyung pagkuha ng Yahoo Id ay pwede two ways, one is following the instructions once you click the button on your yahoo messenger (pag di ka pa login) na nakalagay "Get Yahoo ID" the other one is dun sa yahoo.com section just on top of the personal assistant tab na "Sign In". Once you've clicked on the "Sign In" link, mapupunta kayo sa old login page ng mail.yahoo.com. Click nyo dun iyung sign up now. Once asa "Sign up for your Yahoo!ID" form na kayo, fill nyo lang iyung mga fields BUT UNCHECK the "Activate myfree Yahoo! email Address"checkbox.
Please note to use an alternate email address other than your yahoo account since magrereturn sya para humingi ng ibang email address at pipilitan ng system na to active your email address using the new Yahoo ID. Once you completed that form, close nyo agad iyung page right after it and don't click the links or the Continue buttons since baka ma activate iyung account nyo.
==============================
2. Clear cookies,
==============================
This just a precautionary measure para di mabasa iyung old settings or informations/cookies nyo sa browsers. To clear your cookies sa Internet Explorer, its right under Tools then Internet Options. Sa Netscape naman, its under Edit then Preferences then Privacy & Security then
Cookies then Manage Cookies
==============================
3. Activate mail account at cn.mail.yahoo.com (you get 100Mb storage
pa muna *don't worry*), then sign-out
==============================
Now this is the tricky part, since mayron na kayong Yahoo ID via registration on the main yahoo site, yahoo.com, kailangan nyong ma-activate iyung account nyo as well as iyung email address na ito pero using the Yahoo chinese mail server. As what the instrution have said, punta kayo dun sa http://cn.mai.yahoo.com then login nyo iyung bago nyong yahoo ID and password on the two fields on the right side of the page. Then hit the button, which might normally translate "Login now!"
The next page will now ask you if you want to copy your user information to other Yahoo websites on other country. This is 2nd most crucial part to create your email account *yahoo.com.cn with an English interface. Once you selected Yes, the next screen will now be the inbox section of your email account *yahoo.com.cn but with a 100 MB storage capacity.
==============================
3.a. FYI, the two boxes in the activation page is lastname and
firstname
==============================
This is right after you select Yes on using your user profile. Lagay nyo lang iyung first name and lastname tapos iyung image code This routine simplifies the creation of the yahoo ID and yahoo email account on yahoo.com.cn.
==============================
Upgrading to 1Gb Yahoo China Account
1. Sign-in to Yahoo Messenger, add a contact, sign-out
==============================
This is also important para ma-check na your currently using your account right now. I tried skipping this part pero nagkaproblem ako once I jumped into step 3-4, the next page eh pinapadownload ako ng yahoo messenger in Chinese Instructions!!!
==============================
2. Go back to cn.mail.yahoo.com (all pages would be in Chinese)
3. Click the 1G orange label *sa may baba nung page*
==============================
Eto iyung nag-go-glow na red and yellow na 1GB image.
==============================
4. Type-in your Yahoo ID and Password *yung form sa baba ng page*
5. You'll go to two more Chinese pages (Just click the bottom
centered label in the page)
6. Viola! Your upgraded to 1Gig and your default is English with Free
POP3
==============================
By this time, nakalog in na ulit kayo sa inbox section nang yahoo account nyo sa yahoo.com.cn pero, astig na nakalagay, 1.0 GB na iyung capacity or bar dun sa upper right corner.
==============================

My guess is, yahoo is now doing R&D on the possibility of matching gmail's 1Gb email capacity using the Chinese' yahoo mail server as their springboard.
Alam ko meron software na pwede gamitin same as with yahoopops.
So bali wala na rin pala ang yahoopops when you have yahoo china? Medyo nalito lang ako, di ba 100MB = 1GB? So current users will only enjoy downloading their mails with Outlook Express/ MS Outlook without the hassle of installing yahoopops software. Tama ba ako ng pagkakaintindi?
