Anyways, meron ba kayong mga copies ng mga kanta ng banda noon?

Tulad ng Dahong Palay? RumbleBelly? Re-Animator? Dead Ends? The Youth? Rizal Underground? Agaw Agimat? Cocojam? The Jerks? The Breed?

One of my favorites sa LA 105's compilation is a revival of Asin's "Kapaligiran". Nakalimutan ko na yung banda pero ang galeeeng! Hataw yung lead...

A little OT: Anybody here knows about Discant X? Their one of the pioneer thrash metal bands in the 90's underground scene...

FrankDrebin... Color It Red's bassist Bopip is formerly with this cool band.

I only have a copy of one of two the 2 songs they recorded for the compilation tape by Twisted Red Cross, "Philippines: Where Do We Go From Here?" circa 1989.

It's entitled "Depression and Suicide". Unfortunately, the sound quality isn't good. And I need to upload it first.

I'll post a link after I upload it.

Ganito procedure ko:

1. Use a plug and connect "audio out" from cassette player to pc's "line in"
2. Open audio editor (I use Nero Wave Editor) and set to record.
3. Play cassette then record in audio editor software.
4. After finishing, save as *.wav file. (Dati me option yung Nero na "Save as *.mp3" kaso trial lang pala)
5. Use any downloadable *.wav to *.mp3 converters (plenty at google) and set at 128kbps/44kHz sampling rate. File size usually range from 2-4Mbps.

actually, hindi ko yata alam itong radio station.. but yung ibang band such as agaw agimat, rizal underground and the jerks lang ang alam ko..

but if u are looking for CDs, try to look sa may Circle C sa congressional, sa 2nd floor, diorella section ata yun.. may stall dun na ang pangalan ay 'bukswagen experiment' dun may indie cds, yung mga hard to find cds, mga compilation.. mostly yung mga cds dun hindi nabibili sa mga record bars.. independent albums and compilations ang andun.. OPM ang mga andun.. try nyo bisitahin..

IIRC, si Jack Sicat ang vocalist ng Ethnic Faces.

just recently, was able to download the first albums ng The Youth and Wolfgang, galing. hehehe

anyway, ang hinahanap ko yung original recording ng Giyang ng Razorback.. not the one they rerecorded.. the one that was played sa LA 105.9

Ive got some mp3 from bands like Balahibum Pooza, The Drone, Backdraft, Youth, Razorback.

PM nyo sa kin email nyo para masend ko sa inyo copies ko. Or better yet, pwede ko din upload sa isang site para dun nyo download.
