If its a wired ADSL wifi-modem-router then it should work as an AP. Just set it as a bridge mode the connect a straight LAN-to-LAN cable then you have an instant access point(SSID & creds same with what's on the sticker under the modem)

panu ba mag filter sa router? like kung sino lang gusto mo maka connect, sila lang pwede. like sa mga hotels

As Yatta mentioned, the simplest method is by enabling password. MAC filtering is another option but you will need to get each device's MAC address to be included.
