I am having a hard time in making a remote connection from a remote site to connect to my PC with DVR cameras...

I know this can be done, so i'm wondering if somebody uses one also. Thanks..

speaking of surveillance cam, ano ba ok na cam for home security purposes?

I tried kasi a cheap DIY system. bili ako nung cheapo-webcam with night vision capability from compex, then DL ng freeware motion detecting video surveillance software (one very good sample is eyeline from NCH software- hanapin nyo na through google). ok yung software, kaya lang nasira agad yung webcam eh after a few days. ano ba matibay na webcam? yung pwede iwanan ng 12 hours.

medyo mahal kasi yung IP webcam from swann security

P9000 yata from ACE hardware, although, parang ok sya considering na standalone na sya, you don't need to hook it up to a PC and it can be hooked to a DSL connection.

meron pang isa ako nakita sa Compex, P2K + same concept nung IP webcam described above. with panning and tilting capability pa. pero nabili na when I went back to check it again. medyo duda ako sa durability coz all plastic and china made.

yung mga remote/wireless surveillance cam, baka pwede din. saw one in greenhills, P2K lang. kaya lang bili pa ng video adapter for your PC para marecord mo sa PC. magastos pag record through VHS. haven't tried them though.

why rubbish?? mine is working fine for recording purpose until i want to try remote access which i cant make it to work....

Now i found out the reason why i cant access it.... cause of my smartbro dsl connection at site, if your using smartbro at your site, any web base accessing of your site PC is next to impossible as smartbro BLOCKED ALMOST ALL PORTS for it to connect...

    WBR,

who's using here DVRnet/DigiNet program for surveillance cameras?
