Where to Buy Samsung S24 Ultra

I badly need to replace my Samsung Note 9 which I bought in 2018. I always buy flagship since I don't replace my phone until it dies. I feel like my phone doesn't have long since the battery lasts only 4 hrs and it gets hot when I charge it.

I will be travelling on May and I don't feel comfortable with a phone that dies in 4 hrs. My problem is I don't have the funds to buy a new phone so I figured to get the S24 instead so I could save a bit of money? Is that okay?

Below are the prices

Samsung.com offers 36 mos at 0% interest but it's so much more expensive:

s25 ultra 512GB ₱2,610.83/mo. or ₱93,990.00
s24 ultra 256 gb ₱1,860.83/mo. or ₱66,990.00

Lazada Samsung official only offers 12 mos 0% interest

s25 ultra 512 gb P78,890
s24 ultra 256 gb ₱48,500

I think I will just go for the S24 but my issue is why such large price difference and if it is safe to buy online? I prefer to buy sa physical store. Also, even if Lazada is cheaper, mabigat sakin P4k per month since I don't know when I will have income again so I need to stretch my money as long as I can.

I don't need a powerful phone since I only use it for normal apps and taking photos.

EDIT I CANNOT buy from Lazada installment because it needs a BDO card

I have BPI card and they have 0% interest at 36 mos. Can anyone recommend a physical store where I can buy? Makati or BGC mall only. Thank you

It's P62,690.50 pala if I buy at Samsung.com and I could pick it up at any store. I think P2612 per month is okay na, I like 0% installment, though there is a side of me na cheaper at Lazada but I don't feel comfortable buying such a huge amount online

At that price point i'd probably step up to the 512gb S24U (60K sa Lazada) since you can't expand the storage of either models.The S25U probably only becomes an upgrade for you if you are going to do alot of nighttime video the rest is the yearly CPU upgrade and AI stuff. If you are still happy with the photos the note 9 is churning out maybe take a look at the A56 5G or maybe even the cheaper A36 5G as the midrange has a longer staying power nowadays and have decent cameras at a fraction of the cost. You don't lose much software support either as the A36 will receive updates until 2031.

Can't edit for some reason but would like to add the S24U has a similar support period as the A36/A56

I'm okay with 256 storage since my note 9 is 128 gb. I can't buy at Lazada na pala since they don't offer 0% installment. I'll check out the A56 and A36

BTW, Samsung has trade in pala and my Note 9 is still worth P10k+ so the S24U 256GB comes out at P52k. My problem is transferring the data from my Note 9 to the new phone and I am paranoid that I will leave some info or logged in details pa sa phone ko

Download and use the Samsung SmartSwitch app on both phones. Use the original USB-C to USC-C cable to connect both phones for the data transfer.

If you ordered from Samsung, it should come with free delivery. The courier will deliver the new phone and let you inspect it. He will also inspect the old phone and make sure that it's as you described it online.... he'll run diagnostics to check every feature, not the least of which, check for dead pixels, screen burn, and the touchscreen response. If he's satisfied with your old phone, he'll give you ample time to transfer the data from your old phone to the new. I believe it's two hours, give or take. The courier who delivered my S24U left me to have lunch and just asked me to text him when the old phone is ready to be picked up. Again, you'd really want to transfer through USB because doing it over WiFi is very slow.

SmartSwtich will copy all your data.... and I mean ALL of it including your customizations, down to your Home screen layouts, et al. Your new phone will automatically download apps from the Playstore. This will take time and will heavily depend on how fast your internet connection is. Incompatible/old/unsupported apps will be skipped. But at this stage, you can do this without your old device.

Last step is to do a factory reset of the old phone... the courier will guide you through most of the steps and by the time you hand over your old device, it should be on the factory Welcome screen.

I bought the S24 ultra, bakit parang no difference naman sa Note 9 ko?

Does anyone know where I can have the battery of my Note 9 replaced? That's the only problem lang kasi, it drains in more or less 4 hrs. That's why I had to replace it because i need my battery to at least last 12 hrs with data
