We have Vista on 2 Desktops, WinXP on 2 laptops and Win2k on a third laptop.

No problems so far with Vista. I actually like it. As long as you have the correct drivers for all your hardware, you should be fine. 2GB of RAM also helps a lot.

Yup. In the first place I only have 1gig of ram and SINGLE core, pentium M centrino 1.6GHz lang. although speed is OK (things are actually snappier than a fresh installed XP), I do experience occasional lock-ups.

agree! dual core plus 2Gb memory, sarap gamitin vista. dual boot din for me XP professional and Vista Ultimate for desktop. May mga games kasi ako na sa XP lang tumatakbo.

just got a new desktop sa opis, still running our opis standard windows 2k sp4 but now utilizing dual core (1.8 ghz each) and 1 gig RAM. Big improvement from my previous 2.4ghz single core 512 RAM specially when running a lot of applications simultaneously

Sa bahay naman ay isang windows XP and good ol' windows 98 utilizing 128-bit WEP linksys wireless network. Both are running on 2.53 ghz single core 256 RAM only... guess, its time to upgrade at medyo nababagalan na ako specially when browsing tsikot

I like the Vista look, so I tried installing a transformation pack on my XP Pro and it's cool. Vista na ang dating nya with the stability of XP. Plus I installed windowblinds for the Aero Glass UI...

Di naman po sir wranglerboy, I installed it in my laptop AMD Turion 64, 512MB RAM so far wala naman ako na-encounter na problems. May I ask have you installed the vista transformation pack also? or windowblinds alone?
