Which brand/s model/s do you have in your home or office? How long do these things last? Choosing between a GE and a Toshiba bottom loader.

Is it true that Toshiba is just a re-badged Midea?

Using Tylr bottom load we got from SnR a couple months back. Still working good. Used to have a Hanabishi top load but it was vibrating like hell already when the water level is at half to empty so we just opted to replace.

We have a top-load type from Camel. Haven't had any issues since 2015.

I've since added smart switches so I can schedule and automate the hot and cold functions individually or control them via Alexa.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll take a look at those models. Hopefully all have 5 year warranty for the compressor at least.

I also noticed that some hot/cold dispensers have a bigger capacity (of hot or cold water) than others. I wonder how we will be able to know the capacity of such dispensers when we decide to buy one? I tried asking the salesperson but I don't think they even know that there is a difference

I prefer the old design sana like this pero pangit reviews

Aquabest provides Eureka brand dispensers, they even replace parts from their Examiner H.O. at QC. Almost 15yrs only the swiitch and hot dispenser knob was replaced for a cheap P150 2yrs ago.

Ung di gripo, you only lift it high enough to transport it, ibang usapan kapag ibabalibag mo na sa ibabaw ng dispenser [emoji38]

This is the one I got. Bottom loading sya. Have to admit partly because of the form factor.

IIRC this has Concepcion Carrier made guts.

    i agree with this.
    easier to change jugs.

for me, the convenience outweighs the possible complications re. pump issues.

I installed water filters na lang in my units para wala ng hakot2 pa. Just have to replace every 5 months and cost around 2.5K. Worth the hassle naman.20200823_150651.jpg

May UV na ba yan bro? Kung wala pa best install one na rin.

This one I think is available at Ace Hardware.
