Can I play SC2 on this laptop?

It's time to retire my old laptop and get a new one. I'm eyeing the Toshiba Satellite M645 with the following specs:

- Inter Core i5-450M 2.40GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.66GHz
- 4GB (2048mb x 2) DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM expandable to 8GB
- 500GB (SATA) with shock absorber HDD
- Slot DVD SuperMulti Double Layer Drive with LabelFlash Technology
- nVidia GeForce GT330M up to 1786MB total available graphics (ext. 1GB VRAM)
- harman kardon stereo speakers

Will StarCraft 2 run on this laptop?

Any other suggestions with the same or better specs in the same price range? (60K+).

yes you can. SC2 is designed to run on older rigs anyway because hell, it's about time

here's a comparison:

Based on the GT330M's 3dmark 06 score (6502),It can run SC2 on medium settings easily.

my laptop has the Ati radeon 3670 (3dmark 06 score of 4525) and it runs SC2 on medium settings fairly well.

so sa laptop na yan kayang-kaya.

If the latest patch still hasn't fixed the overheating problem, try this:

madali kasi uminit ang laptop, this fix limits the FPS to the values stated para di mag-overheat.

also want to mention i sometimes play the game on my work laptop which only runs on graphics media accelerator. graphics are set on lowest configuration. campaign is still playable but i can only play up to 2v2 multiplayer, and even then medyo mabagal na on big battles.

The new SC2 Graphics engine relies heavily on CPU rather than GPU processing power.
