Seems okay. Got it for a good deal at just P20K eh for the 1hp one. Kapag malamig na room, we activate it. Seems mas matipid nga kung ganun.

Daikin user here since 2022, satisfied naman ever since.
Advantage ng Daikin na nagpadagdag ng saving is the human sensor.
May auto detection siya na if walang tao sa loob ng room, mag fallback yung ambient temp setting niya by +2 deg.

For that sq.m room, I suggest to go for 2.5HP which is ideal for 20-35 sq.m.
Mas mamaximize niya yung pagka inverter niya if ioversize mo yung unit over the area.
That 2HP is for 15-25 sqm only if real world use ang usapan.

As for savings, I have 2 Inverter ACs sa bahay, 1 is Windows Type and the other is 1.5HP Daikin Split.

Also if malapit kayo sa ilog/putrid water, I suggest na pinturahan mo yung evaporator ng Anti-Rust.

Makikisabay lang ng tanong, okay ba ung Carrier Aura na 2.5HP and Carrier/Midea-based Split types in general?

On paper it looks like a derated 3.0 HP unit (25,500 kJ/h rated; 33K Max which seems to be close enough to what Midea(MSCE-25CRNF8 -25,320 Kj/H rated; 26,900 kJ/h(25,500 BTU/h) max) and Daikin (D-Smart Queen FTKC71AVA- 24K BTU/h(25,320kJ/h) rated; 24.5K BTU/h(25,850 kJ/h) max) rates their 3 HP units at.

I am not a fan of Carrier brand actually, but my bad experience was from their window type.
Sa circuit nila, may device dun na mag titrip on a certain ocassion ng overload use.
Sa time na yun, palaging may low voltage sa area namin which in turn will switch our electricity on/off for 3 times.

I think may nabasa rin ako parang ganyan ang experience with their Inverter WT pero before pandemic pa kaya nagbabakasakali baka naayos na nila ung issue medyo nakakadismaya if until now ganyan parin lalo na if kelangan pa ng technician na baklasin un unit para mareset. medyo OT pero did you end up keeping ung carrier na WT ?

two of our carrier window types sprung leaks. prematurely, i opine.
    hmmm...
