    consider the 2nd screen as an auxiliary display. A place to deposit stuff you don't need in the main screen but still needed to have an eye kept on or available at a glance.

    +1. I was just thinking of that. Triple screen would be da bomb! That along with a beefy dualcore cpu and SLI video.

    I'm not sure if Dell is the crappiest laptop out there. I have friends who've had problem-free Dell lappies.

    Personally, I find Sager laptops to be very nice. My wife's old P4 1.8ghz 15" Sager (from 2002) is still going strong up to now, minus battery of course. It should though. It's built like a tank and weighs 10 lbs without the battery. It's the same model as the very first Alienware laptop.
