Been using skype sa office for almost a year already. What I can say is it's better than Yahoo Messenger. I experienced choppy reception when I logged on once in Tarlac province . I guess the reason for getting bad reception sometimes is due to bad internet connection.

Mas maganda kasi interface ng yahoo kumpara sa skype. Ok ang voice sa skype, pero pag video chat na, mabagal. What I do is open yahoo for video, and voice at skype. Ok ang ganito, di masyado lagged ang transmission. Though pag sa us ang ka chat mo at T1 ang connection, delayed kahit ano gawin.

With skype, you cant go invisible to certain users, but with ym, you can. Though file sharing is a bit better done with skype.

skype nmn is okay for me, nagiging choppy sya o kaya malimit call dropped pag dami ng online (pag nearing 10 mil na ang online). Lately nasubukan ko MSN messenger mukhang mas ok so far.

for me it's a good technology lalo kung nasa remote place ka and have used skype for voice chat 'wag lang peak times but still mas prefer ko ym or chikka kasi pwede rin sa mobile however most european expats here subscribe to skype siguro di sila sanay magtext.

nag download ako nito dati pero hindi ko nagamit. hehehe. ano ba to parang ym lang din? pero diba parang may free call to sa mga landline? pwede ba to sa philippines o may mga country lang na pwede ung free call?

Free calls are skype to skype only. So PC to PC. Does not matter kung saan yung PC, pwede sa Pinas ka at ang kausap mo ay nasa ibang bansa basta may internet. Calls to landline may bayad.

been a skype user for almost 2 yrs sobrang dami na ngayon gumagamit sometimes halos 10m na kung minsan, kaya lang bakit naka freeze lately ang received kong video from wifey (baguio) pero ayos naman daw yung received na video galing sa malaysia. ano kaya problema nito? connection, webcam, o setting lang?? tia

Sikat ang Skype sa ibang bansa... pero dito sa Pinas ay di sya masyadong popular dahil ang mahal ng bayad ng skype out pag dito sa pinas tumawag. medyo matagal na din akong skype users... mga 2 years na nga din siguro. Dami na din naging improvement ng skype.

been using SKYPE for years.. we have a SKYPE fone.. medyo malaki nga lang pero it's ok.. basta may wifi connection.. pwede kang mag online sa skype.. so parang PC to PC na rin sya.. free calls to anyone in your contacts that are online.. very handy pag out of country trips.. we don't pay for roaming na.. we just bring the skype fone.. kahit walang laptop online ka pa rin using the SKYPE fone.

i dont know, maybe its my smartbro connection or maybe its the number of users, but lately ive been experiencing choppy reception from skype, much better na quality ng yahoo. But still, i use yung skype out if i need to get in touch with relatives in the states, since mura if the call is going to the states. Kaya nga ako bumili ng E61i is for me to be able to make skype and skypeout calls.
