You need to install COREAVC. I assume you already have your preferred video player installed... I use MediaPlayer Classic and this works on an Acer Aspire One (9in LCD with SSD model) and on my Intel Atom based with Intel945 graphics chipset file server at home. This also worked on my U210x in "OFFICE" eco setting, where previously playing 720i videos in this mode resulted in laggy playback.

Go to the website link below and download the "installer"...

    http://downloads.phpnuke.org/en/down...-n/COREAVC.htm

Run the installer but unclick all the toolbar and homepage options (unless you want the toolbar and a new homepage)

The installer will download the actual COREAVC installer file.

    Run the COREAVC installer.

At this point, you can already play 720p videos. But I add an additional step by going to the EXTERNAL FILTERS option of MPC and adding COREAVC into it's filters list.

As for 1080 videos... sorry, software can only get your hardware going so much...

Do you want 720p video playback for your netbook?
