meron bang nagbebenta ng replacement battery? or mas advisable bang OEM na lang bilhin? APC Back-UPS RS500 po ung unit ko

i browsed thru pc buyer's, puro laptop battery lang meron

Pwede ka rin gumamit ng car battery para mas matagal ang backup time mo

You can also check with dealer outlets of car batteries like OUTLAST or MOTORLITE. They also sell SLA type batteries like the ones being used in rechangable emergency lamps & UPS devices.

I just bought three UPS batteries from the OUTLAST dealer located at N.Domingo near Gilmore St, New Manila, QC. Costs around P760 each for the model of battery I needed. Best to bring the old battery to check if it's the same size/model.

meron din sa raon. pero better buy from Outlast sa N Domingo like GH suggested. At least may warranty and sure na brand new.

have you tried opening the battery and checking the distilled water levels? This is what i used to do when I was still working as a network admin and has nothing better to do, I opened up 2 "defective" UPS because it doesn't charge anymore, bought distilled water and filled the batteries to almost full, tried plugging it in and the charge light lit up, tried charging it and putting load, worked!

tama usually 12v 7.0ah yung rating ng ups battery, pero mas maganda dalin yung luma or take measurements para sakto. Sinubukan kong gumamit ng car battery pero ayaw gumana, nag shutoff yung ups.bakit kaya? I tried a small engine battery( pang lawn mower/generator) 30 rc 17ah ok naman left an electric fan on for almost an hour nde pa din na drain. pede nang pang brownout, nakakairita nga lang yung beep ng ups
