i use a 15" samsung lcd at home, no problems whatsoever, nice quality too. currently costs 13.6k, worth a look.

you may also look for 17" lcd's cause their prices are reasonable now. AND consider the speed, esp if your into gaming; slow display response might give you a "ghosting" effect.

i got a 17" viewsonic with 14ms response time, costs about us$240 before. now it's a lot cheaper like other brands/models with faster rates too.

4 years ago I had to pay P35k for an all-black 15" SyncMaster 151s ... Sulit naman at matibay siya kahit almost 24hrs a day naka-on, it's still as good as new. Just don't compare it side by side with a Sony, not even then.

For the price sulit siya lalo na ngayon. I also bought the TV version of the SyncMaster, the 151mp (silver) ... ganun din, bugbog siya sa gamit ng mga bata for 4 years pero no problems whatsoever.

I use 15" HP lcd at office - very durable, At home I just upgraded to 17" korean made
LCD only for sgd350 (u$215 or php11,600) with built in speakers. Before I use LG 17" flat crt but got spoiled immediately not even a year of use.

pero i think sobrang tagal bago mabawi ang initial cost, 15" CRT nasa 3k+ lng e..

yup matagal mo nga mababawi...itong sa akin yung unit lang na ginagamit ko palagi sa shop ang nilagyan ko...the rest, crt na lahat...

mukang talo ka nga sa presyo ng lcd laban sa tipid ng power consumption nya. ok siguro lcd kung mas hip ang target mong costumers na maa-attract sa magandang monitor. pero kung masa/students na magre-rent lang out of necessity ang market mo e ok ka na siguro sa crts, better yet 17" crts.

You also pay for the space saving attributes of the LCD. I think its worth it if its one of your priorities.

if its gonna be used in cafes, better to get the branded ones such as Mag or AOC or else sakit sa ulo cheap china made LCDs, after 1 year malaking chance may sira agad from my experience
