    Hello! sa mga nakakaalam sa TV...ano po ang tawag dito sa socket na 'to? yung ibang TV namin ang cable socket ay yun normal socket na may thread pero yun isang TV namin ang sacket ganito walang yun socket na may thread an pinagsasaksakan ng cable. Thanks in advance!

    ganito kasi sitwasyon ko. may cable tv provider kami tapos naka splitter lang yun ibang TV bale yun first three TV's maayos ang reception nun try ko i kabit sa cable yun isang TV namin an ganito ang socket malabo na ang picture kaya ko natanong. baka kako mas mahina ang signal pag ganito ang socket. pero gusto ko pa rin malaman ang tawag sa socket na ganito. thanks nightrock!

    read here

    hindi ko rin alam ang pangalan ng connector na yan ... pero alam kong yan ang ginagamit mostly sa europe (PAL/SECAM) ... yung F-connector sa mga NTSC countries

    socket lang ang nagiba, multi system naman ang TV mo since ganyan ang socket, kaya wala kang problema sa NTSC signal ng cable natin dito.

    bili ka nalang ng adaptor sa ACE hardware.

    dala mo na lang sa service shop yan papalitan mo ng socket para wala ka na socket ng ulo ehehehe!

    As linked by kinyo, tawag nga diyan IEC 169-2 socket. It is commonly called as Coax socket in the UK, distinguishing it from the other coaxial connectors like the F or N type, and everything else. It's the standard connector for analog TV and FM receivers in the UK, while digital receivers use the F type connector.

    If I'm not mistaken ang tawag dyan ay Female PAL Socket walang din thread ang patner nito.
