    hello.

just wanna ask kung gaano ba kalakas ang consumo sa kuryente ng isang personal computer? like how much kaya per hour?

i tried using meralco's electricity calculator pero di naman lahat ng appliances na gamit namin eh nandun eh. so i wanna break it down to my PC nalang.

    thanks po

depende sa klase/components ng computer mo.

Baka makatulong to since nasa cafe biz ako. Etong computation ko nung January hindi kasi ako gumamit ng aircon kasi sobrang lamig ng panahon dito. Yung 12 hrs na bukas ang isang computer kumukunsumo lang ng 20-25 pesos.

    Specs:

    Athlon XP 2.8
    512mb DDR
    128mb VGA
    17" CRT Monitor

hmm. here's my specs if im not mistaken:

    athlon 1.2
    256 ram
    64mb vga
    15" crt

yup, napaghuhulihan na ako ng technology. but im only using it for documents and browsing lang naman. di ako nag-ge-games.

anyway, so linawin ko lang about dun sa 12 hrs thing...
is that 20-25 petot per hour (na nakabukas ang isang pc) o sa buong dose oras ay 20-25 lang?

    salamat!

Here's a rig from the office.

    Specs:
    Core 2 Duo E6600 (Socket 775, 2.4GHz, 4MB L2 cache)
    ASUS P5LD2 SE board (i945P)
    2 GB DDR2 RAM
Palit Radeon X800GTO with 256MB RAM
    Realtek 8169 ethernet card
    1 250GB SATA hard disk
    1 DVD-ROM drive
    1 DVD-RW drive
    400W power supply

Power consumption ranges 90 - 96 Watts idle under WinXP, 150 - 165 Watts when loaded or busy (playing games, DVD burning, compiling).

CRT Monitors power consumption ranges from 70 - 110 Watts. While LCD Monitors 40 - 50 Watts.

    Hope this helps.
