February 13th, 2007 07:39 PM #5I bought from greenhills (sila rin yung bumibili ng used XDA/PDA phones)...to prevent the problem I added 1500 to avail a 1 year waranty on parts and service (sa kanila rin)...it was still cheaper by P2000 sa normal distributor though.

February 14th, 2007 08:05 AM #7reconditioned units are old units, usually with damage, that is repaired/refurbished to look like new, and is most of the time, sold as brand new.

February 14th, 2007 11:46 AM #9Recon units are not accepted sa mga authorized dealers/distributors. So ang place of warranty lang din ng mga unit na to is dun sa pinagbilhan mo.
Yes, its cheaper but will give you headache in the long run. Just my .02

February 14th, 2007 11:54 AM #10sa st. francis square, marami din. meron naman umaamin na recon ang tinda nila kaya mura. they even have a price list of all nokia models displayed sa counter nila, nakakapagod din daw magsasagot sa mga tanong kung magkano ang tinda nila.

mas ok ba kung second hand na lang at hindi recon??? kasi pag second hand, walang ginawa? as is???

February 15th, 2007 03:41 AM #13ano po bang high end cell phones ang gusto nila? kasi iba iba din ang definition natin ng high end eh.. anyway sa akin kumuha lang ako ng phone sa Smart. Free kasi ang mga ibang phones on a certain plan. Kung may gusto ka ng mobile na nasa sa isip mo, inquire ka lang sa SMART at tignan mo kung ano iyong plan na magiging "free" sa iyo iyong phone na iyon.
