just like any other fancy overpriced electronics.. its just an eye candy
sounds are good but not worth it..
i regret buying my beats pro... 30k+ down the drain...
i very rarely use it.... nakatambak lang sa closet....
but only if you cant resist your sons puppy dog eyes.... i think its just better to buy him a new phone rather than this...

and another addition...
the base is excellent but sound quality on highs are average...
its at its best if he listens only to the sound of BOOM BOOM BOOM TSIK TSIK BOOM... hahaha...
save your money and just give him the half
good deal IMO

There's another rapper inspired headphone costing $300 - Soul Pro by Ludacris.
Both of them I auditioned and was not impressed. I also tried Bose QC15 ($300), Senheisser MM550 ($500), Bowers & Wilkins P5 ($300) Skullcandy Mix Master ($300). I really like the sq of the B&W P5 and just waiting for the Black Friday sale to get me one of this.

November 23rd, 2011 10:59 AM #7beats are crap and over priced, buy real headphones. ath, sennheisser, grado, shure and ultrasone are a couple of real headphones. if you want to know more about headphones go to this link Headphones (full-size). heck my $90 sennheisser hd280 pro sounds a lot better than my brothers $400 beats pro.

im also using senn mx880 ear buds for my casual and walking around and was shocked on how comparable it sounds to my grado at $70.

November 23rd, 2011 03:44 PM #16pero i have to give props to dr.dre, very great salesman. made his headphones look cool then give every celebrity he knows his headphones and have them wear it in public, idiot fans will buy it especially teenagers then every other teenager will see their friend wearing it now they think it's the new cool thing so they will beg mommy and daddy to buy them one para "in" din sila. just like the power balance, have every athlete wear it next thing you know biggest rip off of all time.
