What's the cheapest 3G Nokia handset available? It must be one sporting the smaller charger pin so I can make use of my existing charger/car charger. It will be a secondary phone (Sun) since mas malakas signal ng 3G network dito sa bahay namin.

    TIA

Do the XM 5320 and 6151 use the small pin charger like those of the E/N series too?

    *Gh: yes.

*ssaloon: I'm quite certain that it uses the small pin as it's a new model.

hmm been hunting for one lately as well...stumbled onto the samsung j200. parang etong model din ang inooffer ng red mobile. Somewhere between 3.5 - 4k...problem is i don't think this is a new model, walang stock ung mga natanungan ko.

Curiously, i came across the LG KU250, which i think is the exact same phone.

    there's also:

    nokia 3120 -- well spec'd, but i don't see a lot of shops carrying this anymore; something like 5.5 - 6k

    nokia 2730 -- coming Q3 2009, around 5-6k

actually, i'm really considering the 3120c. well spec'd for its price range. hope i can find one aroung GH.

mukhang ok din 2730, my only gripe is it's keypads (di sya individual buttons) and the ETA of the unit. need one asap sana.

thanks again guys, more suggestions if you have any would be really appreciated!

i inquired about the 3120c at unitech v-mall...from the specs itself the 3120c is quite a deal..di lang siguro nagclick ung styling niya dito

yeah, same complaint re 2730...i find the recent nokia keypads annoyingly "flat" -- not the smartest thing to do when people here text 90% of the time...

Pwede na yan. Dito sa SM Pampanga, 5350 siya (Games and Gadgets). I use one on SunCell, although wala pang 3G signal dito sa Pampanga.

Mas malakas kumain yun ng battery kasi it searches for both GSM and 3G signals, which ever is stronger.

Pero based on the review at GSMarena.com, ok ang battery life niya.

spotted the nokia 2730 at Sm Manila...5,9++, though i hear it can go as low as 5,350 at SM North EDSA.

masasabi ko lang...fugly :p The black cursor/call/hangup cluster seems to be resting on top of the keypad. Mas maganda pa ang facade ng 2700. What the h*ll was nokia thinking?

In any case, Hello Telecoms still seems to be selling the Samsung J200. 2 branches na natanungan ko, puro me stock and brand new.

just a caveat: the US and Canada seem to be using a different 3G signal(850/1900) than us(2100). which means your 2100 3g phone basically turns into a 2g phone there. *sigh*
