reconditioned cellphones: please recommend

pre, bakit sa greenhills ka pa kukuha? kumuha ka na lang sa mga taga dito din. afaik, si estong_bulutong nagbebenta ng mga second hand na cellphones.

I think you can address your query to cellphone planet in ebuyncell.com. Lot of members would be glad to respond. Greenhills shops would be the first choice, but I heard a lot of shops there selling flawed units.

I would strongly not recommend reconditioned units from GH shops. Maraming kinakahoy na parts dun or minsan sa umpisa lang matino ang unit. After a day or two dun lumilitaw ang damages, which will prompt you to return the unit.

mahirap pag recondition, kasi ang daming piyesa na napalitan. ung kapatid ko saka tita ko parehong may recondtion na 8250, wala pang 1 year sira na kagad.

as much as possible, stay away from reconditioned units. sasakit lang ulo mo jan... kahit na reputable yung shop, reconditioned pa din yung phone...

yup... i too strongly discourage anyone from buying reconditioned fones... mas advice ko pa kumuha na lang ng 2nd hand units from direct owners selling their old units.

bumili ako ng recon na 6210 last year....gamit ko pang sun.everyday!text and call galore.mag one year na wala parin problema.

daliri ko na may problem kasi masakit na kakatext!

gamit ko 8850 na recon bought it in greenhills, it works fine, 1year na, pang sun ko rin todo text at tawag, no problems with the unit, i just needed to buy a new battery.

ung 82 pala ng utol ko na sira, pinacheck namin kasi nga walang signal. sabi nung tumingin converted lang daw na 82 un. hindi daw talaga 82. tsk tsk.

yah, most likely yung 82 ay 8290 from USA so kinonvert lang yan para magkasignal dito but di din tatagal yan..

swertihan din pagbili ng RECON units pero mas malaki ang chance (mga 80%) na magka-defect kaagad yan.. dahil in the first place, mga defective fones (or factory rejects) yan na ni-refurbished kaya puro repair na yan..

bilin nyo na lang yung mga bnew low-end fones kung medyo maliit lang budget. here are some bnew fones that are below 4k...

ung kaopisina ko naka 3 second hand na celphone di naman kalumaan n models, bili nya lahat sa GH from diff shops... lahat ala pa 6 months cra na agad... ako 3350 ko 2 years na bago ito ng nabili ko still going... I guess nachambahan nya sirain mga nabili nya kaso strike 3 na cya... ngaun puro known shops n lang cya bumibili ng brand new kahit mahal atleast tumatagal at may 1 year warranty pa.

me nakausap akong tindera dati in a big cellphone shop, usually pag ung nagbebenta ng second hand/reconditioned phones dun sa mga maliit na shops(ung ala tiangge), usually me sira daw. then again, baka propaganda lang ng big shops yan B)

Cguro kailangan mo lang usisain ng husto ung software at keypad or external kc sa hardware may stickers cla sa screws di mo makikita ung looban kng may pionalitan o wala...

ako, last june or july, bumili ako ng 2nd hand 6230 sa tiangehan sa greenhills, for 12,500. ok naman ung unit actually..until nung inuwi ko..di pala mag-full battery! whole day na nakacharge di man huminto ang charging...so i concluded may sira siyang malala pero di halata...after 1 week of testing, i swapped it immediately with my current phone: 6630..(6230i nga gusto ko pero, di pa nilalabas, ayaw ko patagalin sa akin ung phone baka malugi ako sa value...) so nung may tumangap, kinuha ung unit ko ng 11,000 din add ako ng 10,000 para sa value ng b-new 6630. buti nalang ang di lang orig sa unit is its box and casing..pero ayun lusot...pagkabigay, kuha agad, bayad, alis.. di na ako nagpakita sa side ng tiangge na binilhan ko...

di ko na binother i-reklamo sa binilhan ko, kasi baka bigyan pa ako ng mas-bulok...atleast un, di hala ang problem, at naialis ko agad sa kamay ko bago maging sakit ng ulo ko like my 9210.

honestly, i feel guilty sa bibili nun... sama ko, e....

kaya ako, di na ako bibili ulit ng surplus sa greenhills, ayaw ko na maulit unggingawa ko.. mag-kano na kaya ung nokia phone na parang malaking lip-stick/ bar ng fruit-tella ang itsura? bili ako(pay may extra cash) nun as para may paglagyan ung globe sim ko...

there are risks. pwede makakuha ng mahusay, pwede rin palpak. so dpat sa mga reputable stores ng 2nd hand lang bibili

i have an idle phone ... nokia 6310i, good condition. nag upgrade kasi kami sa office so yung personal sim ko is now loaded in old office provided phone.

i agree with tsikoteers here ... buy 2nd hand direct from people, not greenhills.
