    Hello.

    Konting tulong naman diyan Tsikoteers...

    May recommended ba kayong shops na pwedeng maghanap ng surplus/cheap PC parts? May project kasi kami na uumpisahan and our max budget is 5k.

    Sa Buy and Sell, ok na sana kaya lang may nakauna na. Ito yung mga parts:

    1. AMD Duron 950 - 1,000
    2. Duron Motherboard w/ 128 MB memory - 2,000
    3. GeForce 2 MX-400 64 MB - 1,000
    or
    4. GeForce 4 MX-440 64 MB - 1,500

    At 4k-4.5k good for moderate gaming na. Hindi kami magpapalit ng casing, CD-ROM drive, hard disk, floppy drive at monitor.

    :: Btw, kailangan ko bang palitan yung AVR ko? ::

    Sensya na sa dami ng tanong, very strict budget kasi... Hindi talaga pwede lumagpas kahit 100 pesos.

    actually Pentium 3 class computers require 300watts, i think.

    recommended ang 300W but a 250W psu will suffice.

    yeah, a 300W minimum is ideal, but i have a friend who runs a P4 1.9 + GF3 Ti combo + three optical drives with a 250W P/S with no problems, so i guess a 250W is sufficient for a Duron 950

    some of the 250watt PS are under-rated.. ingat lang.
