consider the 2nd screen as an auxiliary display. A place to deposit stuff you don't need in the main screen but still needed to have an eye kept on or available at a glance.

Dell is the crappiest brand of laptop there is.

Sobrang sirain nun. I bought 20 abroad anim ang may sira. LOL.

Kahit yung xps m1330 nag-iingay yung fan at nage-error ang hd.

sobrang hassle. Mas matibay pa yung HP at Compaq.

Best in quality is still Fujitsu and Sony though.

+1. I was just thinking of that. Triple screen would be da bomb! That along with a beefy dualcore cpu and SLI video.

I'm not sure if Dell is the crappiest laptop out there. I have friends who've had problem-free Dell lappies.

Personally, I find Sager laptops to be very nice. My wife's old P4 1.8ghz 15" Sager (from 2002) is still going strong up to now, minus battery of course. It should though. It's built like a tank and weighs 10 lbs without the battery. It's the same model as the very first Alienware laptop.

i was thinking of using a triple screen laptop and play a simulator(aviation sims to be exact) in it. OR, rig it to a RC copter/plane

i dont own a dell computer. neither of planning to buy one..
pinadalhan ako dati 3units. hahaha binenta ko agad.
panu pa support and warranty ko dito nun di ba? kahit na kaya ko siyan ayusin. still not the best laptop for me.
mas madali pa support ng hp compaq dito sa pinas. isang tawag ko lang sa kaibigan ko kinabukasan palit na hdd ko.

Same here. I was thinking of Flight Simulator X or X-Plane 9 to be exact. You need 3 monitors to center the game correctly. The same goes for fps games.

touch screen might solve dual use problems (keyboard and screen) but it is hard to type on a touchscreen. No yet practical. Maybe until the proposed tactile touch screen becomes reality.

Nice. The additional screen real estate can be used as a "scratch pad" of sorts, or an area to put the TV or movie screen so it doesn't block your "work".
