LCD Multimedia Projectors

Hello.. we are canvassing prices of multimedia projectors, budget is 150K for the projector and clone desktop pc.

preferably 1600lumens and up ang specs niya.. to be used for seminars of around 300-500pax..

kaya ako nag post kasi I have some questions:

1. now gusto ko EIKI haha kaya lang dollar, other choices are uhhmm EPSON, HITACHI, SONY anu pa ba iba maganda?

2. meron ba sa inyo may kakilala na makakamura kami or makakadiscount or saan shop maraming choices ng projectors?

3. and anu sa tingin niyo in your own experience ang may pinakamagandang projection/resolution sa mga brands or models na nagamit niyo? please state the model name.

You can try browsing at www.projectorcentral.com and read user reviews first before making a decision on which brand and model to buy. They have extensive reviews on all projector models sorted by brand. Very useful info!

actually im leaning towards the epson or eiki talaga.. ang epson daw ang may pinakamurang bulb eh if incase ubos na.

I own an EPson Projector, it's good for personal use, I already tested it sa 100-150PAX nun nag host kami ng seminar. okey naman. but for 300-500 PAX you'll need more than 1600 lumens, siguro mga 2000-2500 lumens up.

if you're looking for the best, get the infocus brand, pero sobra mahal coz it's DLP

dont use eiki dami na me naririnig na pangit daw ito.

I would suggest you use a laptop though, kasi parang may issue pag na-play ka ng avi
file sa projector, minsan ayaw lumabas or dapat naka-divx ka.

If you're gonna use it mostly for data application, I suggest you get a DLP projector instead of LCD projectors. DLP projectors has smaller footprint than LCD projectors and assuming that you'll be carrying this around in your workshops, a lightweight DLP will be very convenient for you.

maganda pala ang INFOCUS? saan naman nabibili?

EIKI kasi ang nakikita kong gamit sa school and its pretty darn good... i think 4500lumens yun gamit doon though kaya mahal..

im considering EPSOn kasi siya daw may pinakamurang bulb, now avi files are video files dba? most of the time naman we are just presenting ppt.

btw, ang setup kasi namin ngayon is nagrerent kami ng wholeset, which cost around 10K per day.. kaya isip namin why not bumili nalang.. pero desktop din ang gamit namin wala naman problem with the projector.

better get a DLP than just an LCD projector. for technical difference b/n DLP and LCD just do a google search about it, suffice it to say that DLP is way better than LCD. a good projector would be the Infocus X2, 2200 ansi lumen DLP projector. get the highest resolution your budget would allow you to. I have been using the X1 and the X2 for sometime now for movies/presentation. In fact we use the X2 for convention type application for 400-500 people over a wide screen measuring 9'X12' with good result all the time.

sir amboy how much is infocus? we only have around 120K as budget for the projector.. ang nakita ko kanina X1 is already at 90K.. but its only at 1000lumens..

ang kelangan ko is around 1600lumens and up...

and except for tridel technologies, sinu nagbebenta ng infocus?

masyado mahal yun nagpagtanungan X1 is phase out already tapos ganun pa din benta nila! like somebody here said nag-sale yun infocus sometime this week, nabasa ko sa dyaryo. The X2 is the current projector ngaun mga 1600 lumens ito, siguro price nito mga 70k or up. but
a lot of us guys in pinoydvd are waiting for the X3, the best daw ito, sa America pa lang meron.

now, may isang nagpaparent ng mga projectors na nagsabi EIKI is better than infocus daw, and for presentation daw mas maganda ang LCD kesa DLP, DLP pang video or theatre daw.. im not sure, kasi ang nabasa ko naman masmaganda ang DLP..

meron kasi bago ngaun 3LCD technology ng LCD Projectors. brighter
sya talaga. I've tried the Infocus X2 for DVD viewing mas madilim nga ang DLP na Infocus compared sa mga projectors na 3LCD. My Epson has 3LCD technology.

well you cant have it all talaga ... siguro piliin mo na lang yun mas compact & mas pulido ang gawa. The Eiki brand is like a clone PC compared to a branded Infocus X2. Pati on/off switch ng eiki pang raon eh hehehe.

sir oldblue, im not sure pero kasi ang ganda ng experience ko sa EIKI sa school namin eh hehehe.. although yun nga 4500lumens yung EIKI na gamit sa school kaya medyo mamahalin din talaga..

gusto ko ng infocus now, unfortunately d lang ako ang nagdedecide.
