At times like these when the likes of Trump and Binay might become the next Presidents, I wish I can afford a ticket to Mars 😕

He's worse actually as he doesn't have any ideology except opportunism.

here's an excellent analysis of the implications of Falcon 9's landing

if ever we reach 90% reduction of space travel costs, then there's a good chance of space travel to mars!

This is epic. As much as I marvelled at the elegance of the Space Shuttle's reusability, this takes the cake in terms of cost effective solutions.

The way I see Elon Musk is a real world version of Hank Rearden from Atlas Shrugged.

in their latest rocket landing experiment, they managed to land it though one of its legs weakened causing the rocket to topple and explode.

well, at least they'll know where to fix and beef up next time.

they should've used retracktable/flexible legs to help cushion the landing, like in old Looney Tunes cartoons ^_^

or maybe deploy net around the rocket after landing.

mahirap kasi dito sa latest nilang experiment e floating platform sa sea. kaya konting alon lang e tataob. di tulad nung unang landing e sa ground.
