OK ba bumili sa kanila? Their pricing is quite aggressive.

But yes, sobrang mura na kahit may sira pwedeng ikaw na magpaayos

no warranty unless explicitly stated as with "manufacturer's official warranty". so gray market units. the local service center will not take them either

i've gotten a few from kimstore, dbgadgets, etc. so far so good

Pero pag bibili ako online (e.g. Amazon, Ebay, Lazada, Sulit), I usually expect the worst especially aftersales service.

Prefer Lazada since you can pay using credit card, there's free shipping and no hassle return policy (with free shipping also). Tried to purchase at Kimstore before but they were asking for two IDs and proof of payment. What do they need IDs for when were paying cash? Kimstore doesn't always give the best prices, DBGadgets, HotGadgets and Gamextremephils at ******* sometimes gives lower prices or they can price match Kimstores price with lesser red tape.

I personally think that they've become too popular for their own good. They're practically dealing with disty-like merchandise volumes with staff sufficient only for a small home business.

There's about a 3-4k price diff with the item i want to buy...but the aftersales worries me as i have crappy luck with buying gadgets online. i think i'll just wait it out a bit.

fyi, checked Lazada, apparently they do have certain items that are a bit closer to Kimstore's pricing...but there's a note that the item is "imported"...my warranty spidey senses are tingling

If ever one day I'll encounter another lemon gadget and bad aftersales service from them, I'll definitely do something about it.

I spead about horror stories online about kimstore so I am not gonna risk it to save a few thousand pesos. It's not worth the headache.

What more after sales diba?

I almost bought a tablet from them once. Pero I backed out last minute
I asked for an OR. They said that if I wanted an OR, I had to pay an additional 12% fee on top of the selling price.
    Hmm...12%... VAT!
So I whipped out my calculator app and added the 12%. After doing that, napansin ko na it cost the same as the regular stores in Gilmore, etc.

So wag nalang. Sa tindahan na lang ako para may OR, para na rin may legit/legal habol ako for warranty issues.

    no OR? pass.

i got a little curious about it when i saw an ad in my monthly billing statement; i thought if my CC company is backing it, they must be OK.

They told me the same thing. Online seller lang daw kasi sila kaya walang OR.
I paid taxes for my income, why shouldn't they? Never again.
