I currently uses a Samsung Omnia 1 WinMo phone. Then my wife got a iPhone 3GS from Globe. And now my Omnia feels soooo sloooow compared to the iPhone.

I've been using WinMo phones since the XDA2 era. And is now considering to switch to iPhone because of its great screen and fast access to everything.

Now, MS announced their new mobile OS, the Windows Phone 7, they might even release their own MS branded phone. From videos shown, it seems very fast, but so are the previous versions of WinMo, until you install a few apps, and then it goes back to the stone age in slowness.

Should I get the iPhone now or wait for WP7?

Btw, there's also rumors of a new iPhone to be released this year.

Everytime a new phone comes out nowadays, people always tend to compare it to Iphone.

I have not used any Winmo based phone yet but since Iphone got a headstart in this field, I would recommend the Iphone.

Rumor has it that Iphone 4G will be outed this Q2 but I seriously doubt any significant change.

If you want the Iphone 3GS now, don't hold back. If you wait for WP7, might as well wait for the next gen Iphone too and compare which is more likeable.

    I got a call from Globe the other day, and I was told that I can get a 16gb 3GS for 1K+ or a 32gb 3GS for 6K+. I didn't hesitate and immediately ordered the 32gb 3GS

With those prices, if ever a new iPhone will be released or the WP7 will be impressive in its initial reviews, I can easily sell the iPhone and get a new one

Time to learn how to jailbreak

But, I read that the newer iPhones can't be jailbroken yet

iPhone 3GS now, or wait for Windows Phone 7?
