SMART's Amazing Fone, OK ba?

fellow tsikot peeps, inputs naman re SAMRT's Amazing Fone. im planning to buy one. OK ba sya? parang ayoko lang eh hindi built-in yung camera nya. hassle ba ikabit & bulky ba sya? info naman pls...like ano pa ba other features nya. salamat po. :confused:

mask ok ka na di integrated ang camera eh. most likely whether u like it or not u're gonna drop ur phone. and kung may integrated camera medyo kakatakot di ba?

if u're a fan of windows, the smart amazing phone is ok. wal aka nag problema sa pc connectivity kasi chances are, windows gamit mo diba? pag may delay sa response makikita mo yung familiar 'hourglass'. hehe. medyo nakakakaba.

pwede mong i-unlock din yan para pwede sa globe. panget nga lang may naka-emboss na SMART logo sa taas ng screen hehe :D

pero personally, di ko trip yung interface ng phone. i'd go for a tungsten or P800 if i had the choice

A friend has one...medyo madalas mag-hang ang unit niya. Expensive din ang LCD should you accidentally break it (P5-6K)...yung isang keys niya (send button yata) e nasira agad in just 1 week of use (they did replaced the unit as waranty).

Overall, its not 100% user friendly daw (according to him).

Plus me catch pa ang internet surfing nuon, yung charging nila me problem daw.

u can get one free * smart podium.

just get the addict plan800, tie up for 2 years.

i dont know if this promo is still on going. it was just a few weeks ago.

if ur the type of person who loves to tinker w/ his cell, then this for u!

actually, inuubos na ng smart yung mga 2002 version of smartfone. meron na kasing 2003 version with integrated camera and bluetooth.

my brother just got one from smart and sad to say nasa kanila ulit unit dahil hindi makapag-send & receive. try daw nila i-flash ulit yung OS. just like what they have said, if you love windows you'll like it. kailangan lang install ka ng firewall & antivirus... :D

I will go for a P800 or 3650. Para sa akin, medyo hindi ok ang build quality ng SAP eh... Mabilis din mabakbak yung kulay niya... :D

Yup alnr is right, a new version of that phone will be released.

And the Sony Ericsson P900.... will follow. Not to mention my next PDA/Cell the XDA II.

thanks sa info....all negative yata...tsk..tsk...yun nga lang plan ko, get the plan 800 and free na yung fone. walang cash-out kaya very tempting din...


i'll ask for a demo fone na lang sa smart center...
