Samin dito sa Cavite, brilliant ang service. Nung 384kbps palang yung plan 995 (ngayon 512kbps), nakaka 500kbps pa ako minsan. Ngayon, sustained na, since "officially" 512 na. Happy customer here.
wala ata sir boeing...called them up last week, medyo limited lang ung areas -- bandang makati and mandaluyong, etc lang meron. wala sa gawing pasay
we have globelines in our office and their service is baaaddd.
initially, when we only had a few users, the connection was great. when we increased the number of users, the speed went super slow. and we were advised to increase our bandwith. we applied for increase in bandwith sometime february this year. to date, no action.
also interested in globe dsl, on a whim, pinaputol ko pldtdsl ko (end contract narin). 2 weeks na lagi 1hr a day ang dsl service ko. useless.
wala ba blocked sites sa globe dsl, or blocked ba downloading ng mga *******s? i live for downloads from *******s (anime, latest tv episodes etc.)
marikina area.
i thought i would stay with pldtdsl for a long time, in fairness to them, mabilis downloading ko sa kanila at lahat ng sites pwede puntahan. and after billing adjustments, ph890 lang bayad ko instead of ph990 monthly. value talaga.
then this happened,

also considering mydestiny cable internet (kasi destiny cable service ko)
and maybe bayantel, kung meron na dsl service sa marikina, meron na yung SPan service nila.
Ok talaga feedbacks ko sa Globe broadband..

just had a problem for 3 weeks.. ang bagal nang SMTP server nila.. pag nag send nang emails.. mga 4 hours (sometimes more) bago ma receive nung recepient..
pero starting Oct. 1, mukhang naayos na nila.. nag upgrade daw nang server..
tapos from 1,500 nag 995.00 na lang yung bill.. tinawag ko lang.. sabi ko bakit new subscribers binibigyan nila nang promo.. ayun pumayag naman na bawasan yung bill ko..
buti pumayag sila na bawasan bill mo, sa pldt hindi sila payag kelangan mo pa bayad ng 5000 for downgrade fee. Plan 2,500 ko dati (512kbps) tapos yung 999 ngayon 512kbps na din, nireklamo ko kaso wala nagawa kaya pinaputol ko na. switch ko sa eastern, although mas mababa speed compared sa offer ng iba pero di na kelangan magsubscribe sa landline phone. wala kasi globe sa manila.
nung una nag email ako sa kanila.. sabi ko bakit yung new promo eh 995.00 lang.. eh same speed nung 1,500... unfair naman kako yun..
tapos mga 2 weeks walang sagot.. araw araw ko ni fo forward..
tapos tumawag sila.. ang sabi nga.. kailangan ko daw paputol.. ehh wala pang 1 year.. babayad daw ako nang 3 months subscription.. 4,500 yata.. tapos kakabit nila yung tig 995.00.. sabi ko.. bakit ganon.. nagbibigay kayo nang promo sa new subscribers sa old subscriber wala man lang kunswelo.. tsaka ano kako logic non.. puputulin tapos kakabit ulit.. eh ganon din naman ikakabit.. tinanong ko kung may shift manager sila.. wala daw.. sabi ko gusto ko kako makausap.. tapos after 2 days yata, ayun tumawag.. ok na raw.. i apply na lang daw sa susunod na bill yung 995.00.. di na daw kailangan putulin.. eh di ayos..
Anyone on the 5 Mbps GlobeQuest DSL account? The promo price is about P3,000 a month. Consistently fast ba siya?

using globe wireless broadband via wimax. ang masasabi ko, mabilis sa mabilis pero may oras na biglang totopakin ang connection. plan 995 1mbps ang kinuha ko. sabi kasi eh nagmamaintenance ang globe gawa ng nahahack daw ang globe prepaid nila
We're a globelines subscriber for about a year na.
So far it is ok for our use. mostly browsing and downloading (no problems with *******s). The bandwidth delivered is as promised.
Sometimes during peak times, it gets disconnected intermittently.
For connection issues, so far, support response is ok usually 2-4 days to get it fixed depending on the issue.
Our area is in Paranaque.
lately sobrang panget nang service nang Globe sa Mandaluyong area.. parating down.. may time pa na 1.5 months wala kaming phone and DSL.. wala namang bill.. pero hassle sobra.. tapos lately pinapapalitan ko yung handset.. mag 1 month na wala pa yung replacement..
