    According to AMD site, the said CPU/Processor is capable of 3D movie viewing/ 3D games ... but do I need to buy a 3D LED/LCT TV/Monitor? Or will my LCD Monitor be able to play 3D movies?

    I read somewhere about PowerDVD 12 ultra which software makes 2D movies into 3D. So I tried and indeed my regular LCD can now display 3D movies. But I was told that it is merely passive and not active (like Samsung LED 3D TVs, and the like). But is it not that there are also those 3D TVs that are passive? What is really the difference between passive and active 3D? More depth? CDR-King sells 3D glasses...can I use them for my 3D movies in my PC with Power DVD 12 ultra software? Noob here....
