Oo, designed yan to run Linux.
Pero ang alam ko meron na ding android build para sa Pi.

I'm thinking of building one to use as a home media center/light browser / download slave. Di ko lang maasikaso.

i think raspberry can run linux(a stripped down version i suppose), pero marami pang ibang OS na pwede i think. Arduino not so sure, pero madami din akong nakikitang choices for OS.

initial project ko is a DIY data center monitor. Mahal kasi ng netbotz/it watchdogs :p

I have an officemate who bought a Pi last year.
And until now, he has yet to set up his system. Di pa daw niya "feel" i-setup.

    Weird...

Yung arduino, mag clone sya or mag orig, same lang ang mga firmware. For the raspberry pi, marami ka gawin na apps at mas user friendly compare kung gagamit ka ng microcontroller, kasi halos magbuild ka ng app from scratch.

the raspberry pi is a very trimmed down computer.
yes matipid sya. it cant be used for hardcore gaming pero maganda graphics capability nya.
I use it as a media player remotely controlled from my phone or tablet.
check youtube for things geeks do with their pis.
kung nagkabudget lang ako - I was planning on donating about
10-20 units to my alma mater.
pag nakakuha na lang ng bonus cguro.
