had actually bought a universal adapter with voltage selector and no abnormalities noted during testing. when it's used at home my wife told me that there's a humming sound (winding is loose i guess), natakot na si wifey kaya ayun di na ginagamit.
btw, nabili namin itong adapter dito sa malaysia recently noong bumisita sya sandali.
