sharpening stone ("carborundum"), sharpening stick, sharpening wheel, electric sharpener, or other tool ?

i grew up with sharpening stone, and am still using it.

whetstones gamit ko... 400 and 1000 grit - for me, basic and fast way to sharpen a knife.

next purchase will be 2000 and 4000 grit para razor sharp knives ni misis.
