good digicam for around 10-15k?

i know there's a thread na about this, pero i can't seem to find it... can anyone suggest a good digicam for the said budget? mejo marami na rin bagong models na lumabas since that thread kasi eh. pamasko ko sana kay kumander!

also, please recommend stores/shops that sell them

may promo ang canon for a60. with free printer na. P15k lang ata. i'm not sure though kung hanggang kelan yung promo. last week ko pa kasi nakita sa sm city.

yep. the one on the left. so what if it's 2 megapixels. ur commander wont be using it to print large portraits, will she? a 2mp digicam can print very good quality 4R pics. pati nga 5x7 prints kayang-kaya eh. no degradation whatsoever ng pic quality. so kung day to day use lang a powershot a60 will meet her needs i think.

anyway the pentax optio s offer u've got is quite tempting. but u wont have a free printer.

oo nga eh... another factor i'm taking into consideration is the terms of payment. the optio s is strictly on a cash basis, while i'm assuming na pwedeng installment terms for the a60 (e.g. citibank paylite) kaya torn talaga ako... hmmmm decisions, decisions!

sir ssaloon the cheapest sa kodak is around 6K i think at 2mp... and 2x optical zoom lang ata

i might scope out the casio exilim series. prices range daw from 8k - 20k sa COMPEX sabi sa KAC :D

pareng ssaloon. If you have 20k to burn on a digicam, and are a casual photographer and prioritize mobility and small size... da best na yung Pentax Optio S na 4MP version. May nakita ako sa classified ads section natin. Or better yet, get a Casio Exilim Z4. Exact same features but the casio has a BIG 2.0 inch LCD screen.

I was supposed to get this kaya lang my priorities suddenly changed and instead, i got an Olympus C-50 Zoom 5Megapixel. You should see my printouts pare! talagang photo quality especially if you use good photopaper.

And if ever you choose any digicam other than the above, make sure it has optical zoom. thank me later.

OT:if ever your'e gonna drop by Robinsons, bring the lasalle scanal vcd and give me a holler.... my whole department is waiting for this hehehe

May compex dito Miko! 2F nung new wing. text mo lang ako. Kung pang regalo, oks na yung Casio Exilim S2 or S3. Better yet M2 or M3 models (can take movies w/ sound). She'll be impressed with its thinness and size.

pissword, theyre pretty sturdy enough. metal casing kasi. 3.2MP, hindi ako solb when it comes to 8x11 prints.

Canon makes great digicams, pero ung main complaint ko is medyo bulky ung digicams nila..e kung casual use lang e most likely tatamarin kang dalhin un coz of its size...sayang lang B)

one word of caution though: a friend of mine bought an M3, mga 1 month plus e sira na ung battery...after getting it replaced(uner warranty), ok na naman sya up to now
