stupid question: do i need to have a PLDT landline to apply for mydsl? di ba parang wi-fi broadband nila 'to? i don't like phones in general, and landlines in particular eh.

Im on myDSL 999. I applied online at http://www.pldtdsl.com/, less than a week nakabitan na ko agad. Hindi ako satisfied sa service nila, lagi na lang meron problema ang connection ko. First was ayaw mag-load ng mga websites. I had this problem for 2 weeks bago nila naayos. Then 2 days akong walang connection, di nila masagot kung bakit. Tapos nun naging problema naman ay laging nag didisconect ang connection ko after every 5-10 mins. pldt dsl sucks.

also i have a problem with images and gifs not loading on my pc at home. pero enabled lahat naman ng ganong options sa browser ko. baket kaya?

destiny din ang gamit ko sa house, pero disconnected na ako, pano nman hanggang ngayon walang pinapadala sa akin na billing statment pano ako magbabayad, nag complain na ako pero mukhang it fell on deaf ears, hanggang ngayon wala parin billing na dumadating. maganda sana kasi at P888 mura at mabilis naman

100mbps/10mbps speed lng ata yan ng NIC mo, not the actual broadband connection. try mo reinstall browser mo, minsan nagloloko pag matagal na..

Mga kababayan, ano kaya ang problema ng laptop ko? Nakaka-connect ako sa LAN pero hindi gumagana ang DSL connection nya. Yung ibang mga PC ok naman kahit doon pa sa LAN cable ko ikabit. Pag LAN lang ang ginagamit ko connected ako sa ibang nakakabit sa LAN pero ayaw lang talaga maka-connect sa Internet. Ano kaya ang problema? Nagtataka din ako dati nung may connection pa, kasi yung mga PC ang bilis ng connection sa Internet pero yung laptop ko, ang kupad, mapalad ng makakuha ako ng 40kbps.

From February until about 2 weeks ago, wala naman akong problema sa connection sa DSL with my laptop. Akala ko nga baka sinasabotahe lang ako ng brother-in-law ko na hindi ako binibigyan ng bandwith allocation.

Possible nga kayang LAN Card na ang problema? onboard kasi yon e. meron bang nabibiling LAN Card na external? Kaso walang Card slot ang laptop ko... ECS lang kasi.

ganyan pldt dsl, mabilis magkabit, mbagal sa customer support!! infact, wla nga sumasagot dun sa customer service no nila!! kse one time halos 2 days nko wla dsl, keep on calling em la tlga sagot.. sumagot lng sa email ko, tpos may tumawag after 2 days pa ulit, eh ayus na ung line eh! tumawag pa sila..

pero sa speed, satisfied nmn ako, njoy Battlefield 2 ko hehe

AR, check mo units mo, any chance na you mean MBPS yan?
Ang bagal naman! maski modem (dial up), mabagal na yong 24kbps connection rate e.

just did one of those bandwith tests using globequest. This is what i got:

"Your current bandwidth reading is: 680.67520 kbps which means you can download at 85.08000 KB/sec. from our servers"

i did several more tests, DL speed ko was anywhere from a low of 44 to a high of 89. most times nasa DSL level naman ang bandwith. and it seems as if bandwith and DL speed is faster pag walng firewall na activated.
