What dryer are you using and how long have you had it? Our Fujidenzo (given as a gift) has kicked the bucket. Looking at Panasonic in the 20k+ range. There's LG too but am not sure of its reliability.

Got a Whirlpool 8kg unit a few weeks ago. So far so good. Came in at less than Php 25k.

My experience with LG PH service was good if that helps you decide. We bought the Whirlpool because the dryer of our LG 2in1 wasn't working properly. They finally got it fixed after some trial and error.

Thanks bro. How long before the LG's dryer stopped working? Not sure if applicable to this appliance, but my ME uncle used to always say dedicated machines will always tend to last longer.

Mahal pala talaga ng mga ito. There's a sale on Sharp's 8kg dryer so I might go for that. Tried calling Anson's C&C kanina before I remembered closed nga pala sila. [emoji16]

Wow mura ah. How does this work? Heating element + fan or just the heating element? I assume non-ozone generating yung wavelength ng UV lamp?

yes - ceramic heating element with fan.
the unit I got doesn't have any UV light.
    didn't bother checking with seller.

Using a 7KG Electrolux Dryer since Jan 2020. Being used 3-4x a week, 4hrs per use on average.

Around 3 years din bro. Hirap kasi diagnose dahil walang error message. They replaced the board, inlet valve, and water level switch pero ganun pa din. Finally naayos when they replaced the drain pumps. Theory namin di na nakakabomba ang drain kung babad na sa hot water during the drying cycle. Wala kasi issue during wash and spin.

Based on my experience I agree that better separate machines if you have the space. Kahit naayos na ang 2in1 we will keep using the Whirlpool as the primary dryer. Backup dryer na lang yung 2in1.

I used to have that "fan dryer" before. super useful when drying jackets and shoes kapag tag-ulan.

as for the regular clothes dryer, we used to have a Samsung one. ok sana kaso too much effort in cleaning the exhaust + duct

Now, normal line dry (sampayan) for us, tapos beddings + quilt are all laundry service na lang.

meron... weekly din ang linis... pero kailangan pa din linisin yung linalabasan ng hot air

... tapos ang init sa house kapag gami mo yung dryer. kaya nung bumalik kami dito sa Pinas, we decided na we can live without it since madali naman laundry service dito.

During rainy/humid days lang bro. But for some items like pillows, bed covers, blankets and towels kung hindi mainit ang panahon dryer talaga para hindi mabaho.

Buti narepair pa! Haven't had any appliance repaired in years coz most of the time the cost doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Takaw nga sa space nito. Be great if it could stack with the washer. We got the Sharp 8kg na lang coz it was on sale at 22k.

Surprisingly cheaper ang parts nya compared to our favorite online stores. Understandably mahal ang labor charge pero I only paid when the issue was fixed.
