    http://www.mukamo.com/nokia-n91-cell-phone-explodes/

N91 explodes while charging. the owner was sleeping while charging the phone. kaya dapat pag nagcharge ng cell kahit anong brand pag gising ka. mahirap na.

di ba dati may thread din dito na kakabili lang ng cell from nokia pag uwi sira pala tapos ayaw palitan ng nokia, gusto repair lang.

bumababa na ata quality ng nokia sa bilis ng production to satisfy the demand. these are isolated cases but nokia customer care sould not just shrug these cases off. madaling masira pangalan nila.

Was it an original battery and charger that was used or yung aftermarket type na charger and/or battery? Sometimes non-OE parts can cause this.

ang problema kasi sa Philippines, yung vendors, pinapalitan ng fake na battery ang mga nokia units para maibenta yung battery na original.

it may not be nokia's fault... might be the li-ion cell supplier...

Saw this news on TV last week. Yup, the owner claims that she was using an original Nokia battery and charger when the incident happened.

Parang ayoko nang mag-overnight charging ng cellphone. Sa office na lang.

yung kapit bahay ko nasunog bahay nila kasi yung telepono (nokia na 31xx series) had been left charging while they went to get something sa grocery.

the battery and charger was rumored to be replacements ("muslim" or bangketa sold)...kaka-awa, dahil sa pagtitipid ng worth less than P500 (charger and original battery) they had to spend more than a million to repair their burned house.

Naku, parati pa naman akong overnight charging. It's the only time kasi na pwede akong magcharge ng cellphones ko.

They are most concern about the quantity and not the quality.

Actually most phones/batteries/electronics indicate in their user manuals to not leave the unit/battery plugged beyond the recommended time.... Just because it's common practice to leave something plugged, doesn't mean it's the standard hehe.

Now if the manual explicitly says "it is unneccessary to unplug the unit after charging has completed" and it blew up, then that's another issue.

for almost two years ko na gamit nokia fone ko, and charging it longer than usual, ok pa naman. it used to have a feature naman na mag-stop sya ng charging once full batt na. di naman umiinit ang batt or charger.

pag ganun, defective ang batt. di dapat mag-init yun o sumabog since may safety feature naman ang fone when charging. madalas naman ako mag overnight charging, la naman nangyayari. credible naman kasi pinagbilhan ko.

normally, sa mga cellphone stands papangunahan ka agad ng tindera about warranty. siguro nga kasi they dont assure its perfect quality. trial and error.

    buy orig to be safe.
