In the evolution of things on earth, the evolution of the egg was an adaption of the then sea creatures to living on land. At first, they had to go back to the water to breed and lay eggs which limited their colonization of the land.

Later. their eggs developed hard outer shells similar to the eggs we are familiar today. But these egg laying creatures are more similar to large lizards like the modern crocodiles. Later these reptiles evolved into birds which still lay eggs up to today.

So the first was the EGG.

In between egg & chicken, chicken ang nauna. Walang maglilimlim at magaalaga sa itlog kung wala yun manok.

But, in between the life cycle ng egg at chicken, mas nauna ang "sisiw" because life begins from small to big not the other way around.
