The Singapore Grand Prix is a Formula One auto race to be held in Singapore from 2008. To be staged at the Singapore Street Circuit in the Marina Bay area, it may become the first race to be held at night for the sport should safety concerns be ironed out. But Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed a night race by saying, "This will be the first fully lit street race in Formula One.

Depende sa eroplanong sasakyan mo,- baka halos ka-presyo o mas mahal pa sa pamasahe ang ticket sa F1.

Hopefully the ticket price will not be expensive as Singapore is trying to promote F1 race in Singapore for the very first time.

kala ko di pa to sure?

mahal ticket sa formula 1 eh. nagpunta kami sa melbourne before, takte, gen admission ticket inabot yata ng AUD 250 yung tito ko for each of us.

sana matuloy yung sa singapore. mas mura airfare at lodging dun eh. yung malaysian grand prix bulok daw, di ko pa na-try.

Mahal ang F1 tickets. I think the franchise fee sponsors/host countries have to fork-out in order for them to stage a F1 race is about $70million. I suppose they need to recover this expense through ticket and merchandise sales. I had to pay about P16K for my grandstand seats for this year's F1 race in Sepang. I would think they would align the pricing of the Singpapore tickets with ticket prices from other Asian races. Let's wait and see for the final annoucement, hopefully its more affordable.

    That's just rude.

If you don't have something better to say, then just don't post it here.

    That's an infraction for you.

Singapore Grand Prix releases estimated ticket prices for F1
    By Satish Cheney, Channel NewsAsia

Formula One fans will be able to get their hands on tickets to Singapore's first-ever Formula One Grand Prix by the end of the year.

Corporate ticket sales will begin on 28 November, while public ticket sales will start in mid-December.

Singapore Grand Prix, the organiser of the race, said ticket prices would be kept affordable to ensure that many people would be able to enjoy it.

Responding to Channel NewsAsia, Singapore GP, which controls 100 percent of the hospitality rights, said the cheapest ticket is likely to be around S$50 for the trial races.

During the actual race day, tickets will cost around S$100.

And for the exclusive paddock area, tickets will cost a whopping S$6,000 to S$7,000 each.

Singapore GP said it is fine-tuning the details, adding that mid-range packages would be made available.

These packages could include exclusive use of sky lounges for companies.

There could even be an outdoor party, similar to a mini Zouk-Out, within the circuit park.

Some 80,000 to 90,000 people are expected to get a taste of the F1 action in Singapore.

Singapore decides on its track design

Singapore has revealed the definitive design of its Formula 1 track. There has been much discussion over the exact routing for some months but the track is now decided and will be 3.15 miles in length and will have 24 turns. The race will be 61 laps and if all goes to plan it will be the first ever F1 race to be held at night. This remains dependent on safety clearance for a lighting system that will replicate daylight conditions.

The circuit will include a completely new pit straight which is being built along with the necessary buildings. The cars are likely to reach a maximum speed in excess of 200mph along Raffles Boulevard. The cars will also go through the 97-year-old Anderson Bridge, over the Singapore River.

"After months of poring over the drawing board, we are now one step closer to our dream," said Colin Syn, the deputy chairman of Singapore GP. "There is no time to celebrate - it is now full speed ahead for us to get this race on the road."
