While watching F1, saw A1 advertisement. Also the star sports commentator said A1 as F1s competitor.
    Check their site: http://www.a1gp.com/

i'd love to see a series that restricts aerodynamic aids, mandates manual gearboxes, tapos no restrictions on engines, suspensions, brakes, etc. hehe

para naman mas maging driver-oriented yung sport at mas may variety yung grid at mas exciting yung action.

I'd like to see more CART on TV... that one had it all, fast cars, loose aerodynamics, turbo-boost (drivers could either cruise or turn up the turbo ...900+ hp!... for overtaking) and more dynamic races, everyone within 0.5 seconds of each other, not spread out like F1, and last lap overtakes in many races.

Too bad they're still rebuilding, they were the one true F1 rival...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

A1 cars only have 550 hp at most, but at least they're practically identical to each other, so it's more on driver skill then.

It is stated in the website that A-1 is the "Grand Prix of Nations" with 21 nations already represented.

Sana some local sports patron or corporation can buy a franchise and put up a Philippine team.

Since practically everything is identical - to limit cost among other reasons, maintaining a team and competing will not be as expensive as F1 and maybe within reach of Filipinos.
