mr. noted. sana kahit minsan sinubukan nyang ipukpok yung gavel sa ulo nya - and maybe knock some sense into his head.

wouldn't even consider voting for this hack - kaso hirap matalo pag nakasakay kay sharon.

Some of the achievements of Kiko Pangilinan:

Some other legislation which Kiko became actively involved with include the following:

    * The Citizenship Retention Act of 2003
    * The Filipino Overseas Absentee-Voting Act
    * Anti Piracy Law

Presently, Kiko is actively campaigning for the passage of the Juvenile Justice Bill and the Independent Counsel Bill which would further strengthen the country's judicial system and the government's prosecutory arm.

plus, siya ang proponent ng TAYO awards, (ten accomplished youth organizations) which is now on it's 5th year. you may check out www.tayoawards.org

tayo awards foundation gives recognition to youth organizations that have contributed to society...

I won't vote for him simply because he's been trying for years to stop the subsidy of the Government to University of the Philippines. Paano na lang yung mga mahihirap. UP is their only hope for cheap and premiere grade education.

Kiko Pangilinan is a certified mason. Ask around those that are in the know. Like it or not, that man is getting another term as a senator. He is a mason and there lots of them here in our country. Wanna bet? Hahaha. You wouldn't be that happy when you find out what freemasonry is all about.

*peklat: he said, dapat daw maging independent na ang UP. Nagsimula yon sa overflowing parking lot sa UP Diliman (500Ha campus). Dami raw mayayaman sa UP (which although is true is just a minority i believe). Currently, it costs 60-70K to educate a UP student/sem. Tapos ang binabayaran lang ng student (non-STFAP) is 5-6.5k, the rest is shouldered by the Govt.

If the Government will remove its subsidy, then UP will have no choice but to charge in full. Dami kong naging classmates na tiga province, yung iba parang "representatives" pa nung tribe/barrio nila, yung tipong pag-asa nila. These people are doing everything and working hard para lang makapagtapos. Paano na sila?

True, riding sharon got (and will get) him votes. Honestly, that's the only reason i see why he even married her in the first place. Back then he's not even known to the public.

Be that as it may, the Government should not turn its back from its duties to provide quality education. Lagi na lang kinakaltasan ang budget ng UP. Say 8 Billion ang projected expenditures, laging kulang ang binibigay.

Konti lang ang mayayaman doon. Statistics are just that, numbers. Laging may gumagawa ng stats para ma-justify yung pagbitaw ng Govt sa Premiere State University, tinangka pa nga ni Ramos ibenta ang UP eh, that son of a gun.

Makikita mo naman kung anong dami per class ng citizens kung don ka rin nag-aral e. You get to mix with almost everyone because you need to attend common subjects (G.E. subjects). Competition kasi yan eh, rich people want their children to study there simply because it's the center of excellence. It's the distinction. Unfortunately, these people can afford review centers. So some people who get to pass are not really qualified because they dont have natural intelligence so they transfer out afterwards because it's hard. In short, may natural screening process. Sa group naman ng mga less financially capable, they have the natural intelligence so they get to stay and finish.

another misunderstood policy... yun mga mayayaman lang yun istop ang subsidy not lahat... eh kung ayaw pumayag ng mayayaman, kasalanan na nila yun... may pera naman ayaw pa imahagi or ipaubaya yun opportunity sa iba...

hes quite f*cked up and confused, but would vote for him nonetheless...

Nalaman ko na last night from my Lawyer friend kung bakit sya galit sa UP. Sinipa pala sya ng Upsilon because of lying. There was an election before sa UP Presidency, student regent sya. He said he voted for the brod, Abueva, later he told that he really didn't. This reached Upsilon and kicked him out.

That's why he needed to marry a prominent single mom just to ensure votes. The machinery of Upsilon would have been enough.

i dont really trust Politicians who marry popular actresses. it's like riding lang sa fame ng asawa. mas ok pa sakin yun mga pulitiko na may asawa na galing sa Classmate, Air Force One etc.. that's being truthful!

    who can't resist diba?
