    Our country is indeed rich in mineral deposits. Unfortunately, i've only heard of foreign companies doing the mining here.

    Our nation is sooooooo rich that we are now "exporting" even our manpower. Result: we now have a brain drain, just look at the present senatorial line up

    mayaman talaga tayo sa resources, but let the foreigners or more particularly the Americans mine/harvest it. kasi kung hindi lebanon in the 70's ang kalalabasan natin or that country in the movie Shooter depicted ...

    patriotism has its limits lalo na pag ang makakaaway mo eh "the powers that be"

    Not unless filipinos will be united by one goal di natin kakayanin.
    Andyan padin kasi ang "kanya-kanya" attitude.Most specially sa mga politicians na yan.Just take a look at Japan.
    They were devastated before and since they have a drive (leaders and citizens) they are now one of the richest nations in the world.
