    GMA, nyah!!! pogi ang govt ngayon dahil sa paglakas ng piso, and daming issues na nagtatakip (temporarily) sa flaws nila like (ultra tragedy, pacman, etc.)

    THAKSIN? maybe not, no supporters from the middle class. Thai economy still ok. Although he's in the hot seat after selling his shares in SHINCORP for 73B Baht. My colleague told me that Thaksin doesnt want to invest in Technolgy and he prefers energy (fuel, oil, etc). Last saturday Sonti (no.1 detractor of Thaksin) led a rally, only 50,000+ joined.

    Si Thaksin, wag c GMA, well for me honestly, kahit sino naman na ipalit mo na President neither administration nor opposition still may mga mischief's silang nagagawa gladly to say na si President GMA made changes for the better especially sa Doller=Piso exchange laking tulong to sa mga business people like me. And mas maraming mga projects akong nakikita sa TV na nagawa na. Just my 2 cents.

    50,000 is still a big number.

    I'm betting neither will be removed before the end of their terms... they're both determined to weather it out.

    can anyone suggest who would be the better replacement for GMA? I think right now she is the only one capable of leading the country. it doesnt mean na hindi nasusunod ang tingin natin na tama eh mali na siya... although tutol tayong lahat sa increase in tax, tinuloy pa rin niya kasi yun ang alam niyang tama and comparing herself to most filipinos eh mukhang siya ang may pinaka-may alam... look what it has done for our country... the economy got better, more budget for the govt agencies, and it is pump-priming the economy na...

    Van Wilder - With all due respect, our government has not acted on the single biggest issue that is being brought up to the Palace by the manufacturing companies,- that of the high cost of electricity in our country. Actually, one of the highest in the region. This is one of the biggest factors why companies are moving out somewhere else, together with inconsistent government policies and corruption.

    We should provide work to the Filipino people. Manufacturing provides good opportunities for all Filipinos, whether rich or poor. We cannot bank all the time on our talents, because other countries have already caught up...

    Sana nga, gamitin nila ang tax ng maayos. Mahirap kumita ng malinis at disenteng pera...

    Si Pandak! isama na ang mga alipores nyang mga kurakot. kaya nagkaloko-loko ekonomiya ng pilipinas dahil sa kanila. inubos nila pondo ng pilipinas lahat ng pwedeng ibenta, binebenta, lahat ng puwedeng kurakutin, kukurakutin... onli in da pilipins mga prends!

    Sinabi sa akin recently lang ng kapitbahay ko na si GMA daw talaga ay kurakot ginagawa nung mga kaalyado niya ay nagpapartihan ng pera sa hongkong at hindi dito sa pinas. Sinabi din ng kapitbahay ko na matalino talaga si GMA..

    Gearspeed: Tama ang kapitbahay mo! Being intelligent is an asset. But using it to serve your personal agenda, which is contrary to the public interest is another.

    Pero, sana naman, work for the true welfare of the people. Provide job opportunities to everyone. Do not give them fish (on video); teach them how to and give them the opportunities and the means.

    Support this by providing cost-effective infrastructures and consistent government policies. And minimize corruption (see, I am not even demanding eliminate corruption here!).
