I doubt if the protest will be that wide as the first-ever few transport strikes.

coz for every 1, 2, or 3 people riding on a single motorbike, that's 1, 2, or 3 people less customers for PUJs

now PUJ strikes do not have the same paralyzing effect as before

i hope one day maging extinct ang PUJ

we can't count on the govt to phase them out (too unpopular)

but we can count on market forces to drive PUJs to extinction

Sana lahat ng jeep ilagay sa isang place tapos pasabugin. Everytime may makita ako na jeep na walang hiya kumuha ng pasahero or nakaharang sa daan, ginagamit ko mic ko kahit wala na ko tint. Minumura ko sila di ko tinitigilan unless tumabi or umalis.

They deserve na mamura kasi kung may ma-aksidente or magasgasan dahil sa bulok nilang jeep wala naman silang pambayad.

I doubt this will have much effect, the common jeepney driver would think twice..."Sali nga ako sa welga, eh papaano ang pangkain namin ng pamilya ko ngayong araw?"

As for the jeepneys totally disappearing from our roads, strong enforcement of laws on registration...by this it means the emission testing alone, without any doctor-fabricated results, half if not 3/4 of this would be enough to eliminate this problem.

i think it will not push thru or fizzle out come monday.
if it does pushes thru then i guess i have to drive to work, and pay around 150 for parking

It will fizzle out cuz it's only one jeepney group. May LRT, bus, taxis, tricycle, pedicabs at kariton pa naman sa daan. As usual, they exagerate the numbers. These leftys love to pump air into their words for effect.

Jeepneys will become extinct if age finally catches up on them. Spares for these dodos will simply run out or become too expensive to keep them on the road.

Kawawa mga students nito lalo na sa mga schools na malayo sa highway. Mga siraulo itong mga jeepney drivers na ito. ang pinapahirapan nila sa pag-strike yung mga tao, not the Govt nor the oil companies they are against.

tuwing may strike noon, grabe lakad kami hanggang philcoa dahil mahirap makipag-agawan sa taxi lalo na't may mga babae kasi siempre papaunahin mo (ewan ko ba di ko ito mapiligan sa sarili ko). Swerte yung mga nasa U-belt at malapit sa roads. Walang problema sa transportation at siempre yung mga anak mayaman na may sundo or may kotseng dala.
