    harharhar that was funny... i don't need a US Visa (never applied either). I rather visit Europe than US.

    BTW I am earning more than enough (that I can send my kids to college without problems and live a good life) than most working in US right now.

    sa Pinas kung hindi ka tamad...madali mabuhay (at kumita) sa America (both na kayong mag-asawa nagwowork) at 2 jobs pa minsan... hirap pa ring mabuhay!

    Pero, I have a good number of friends whom I should say has no real opportunities/ future here in our country, and who migrated to the US. They're doing very very well there.... I am happy for them too!

    I have to disagree with this. I work, my wife doesn't. We're doing ok.

    Anyway, BTTT, I don't "hate" America... there are some good things and some bad things, just like anywhere else. Hate is such a powerful word, and I don't like to dwell on hatred.

    Dito kasi, maraming oppotunities.. Sayang kung nakaupo ka lang samantalang andaming pwedeng trabaho dyan. I know a lot of Filipinos na hindi tamad pero wala talaga dahil walang available na trabaho.

    Back to the topic, Both. Hate it, lalo na pag winter, love it dahil everything is here. You can taste it even you are just an average guy. Can play golf, watch broadway, tennis and everything that only rich people can afford in the Philippines.

    US was the major culprit (since after the ww2) why Philippines loss most of its natural resources... kaya yung ibang pinoy ngayon hirap pa ring mabuhay at kumita (unless magpunta ng US).

    Ganito lang yan, kapag nakikinabang ka, mahal mo kapag hindi maaring
    maintindihan mo or magalit ka. Magulang at Lahat (3) ng kapatid ko (2 nasa
    military) ay andun na lahat, ako lang naiwan. Mahal na mahal nila ang
    amerika. Pero ako personally hindi. Marami akong dahilan siguro dahil iba
    ang sitwasyon naming magkakapatid. Pero base sa mga kwento nila.. Mahal
    sila ng gobyernong amerika mula sa benepisyo at proteksyon.

    Dito sa Pinas depende rin, kung tayo’y marangya na hindi na natin
    kaakilanganing umalis pero ibang sitwasyon naman kung pagmamahal mula sa
    gobyerno ang pag-uusapan. Kung ordinaryong mamamayan ka lang hindi mo
    masasabing mahal ka o protektado ka ng gobyerno pero kung may koneksyon
    ka or may posisyon kitang kita ang pagkakaiba.
