Do these corrupt AFP Generals feel any shame at all? How about their wives and children, don't they feel guilty of wallowing in luxury from stolen money that might have well been spent for the welfare of our foot soldiers in the front lines?

And how about that Ferrari that figured in an accident this morning in Meralco Avenue? Ang daming naghihirap na tao dito sa Pilipinas and they plunk down tens of millions of pesos for a car that is not even street-driveable?! Tapos wreckless pa magmaneho...How insensitive. Pustahan tayo na yung may ari ng Ferrari pays less income taxes than you and I do..

So, you're saying that people don't have the right to own luxurious cars because their fellowmen are poor?

ive never thought ill ever get to say this statement, but "i agree with coder on this one". and also with reepicheep.

if i could damn well afford a ferrari, then im going to drive it anyway i want. hindi kasalanan ng ferrari owner na may pambile siya at mahirap ang mga kababayan nia no. specially if he's not one who preaches austerity and matuwid na daan sh*t.

now, if you have evidence to back-up your statement: "Pustahan tayo na yung may ari ng Ferrari pays less income taxes than you and I do.." then by all means, magsumbong ka sa BIR. nakatulong ka pa. and may reward pag nagsumbong ka ng mga tax-evaders.

on the issue of AFP generals. well may balik yan sa kanila. look at the witness himself, col. rabusa. cancer stricken na. maybe thats the reason why he turned witness. aminado rin siya na nagnakaw siya ng "maliet".

    that's easy to explain

there are people who do not feel shame or guilt

    sociopaths

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sociopath
    so·ci·o·path
    [soh-see-uh-path, soh-shee-] Show IPA
    –noun Psychiatry .
a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.

Most of them are capable talaga to buy and keep those as top of the line cars. And thats a good sign of a developed country.

but if we are in the same situation and have that opportunity, I think gagawin din natin yun ginagawa nila, I mean it's human nature. swapang ang tao. natural na natin yun huwag na tayo magpaka plastik.

if natikman mo na yun sarap ng buhay bec you have money to spend, then hinde mo na maiisip yun mga kababayan mong walang makain.

Maybe the TS made the comment regarding Ferrari, because the driver a certain Escobar cited a certain General's name, and also Sec. Robredo's name..may red flag ngayon sa term na General eh...

correct me if im wrong ha. But the common impression is that those who usually derive their living from unscrupulous activities tend to splurge in high profile things (a flashy car, a flashy house, a flashy GF - hehehe).

Although there are also who can afford to have these niceties, but if you look at it from the point of view of taxation. Tayo na fixed income earners tend to pay more taxes than these people.

Once you start earning much more, you also have much more resources to find the loopholes in the "rules" to take advantage of it.

And anyway, it is always bettern to own your own business than to be an employee. Better growth potential.

Until the Philippines has become a communist state, people will have the right to buy and own expensive things as long as you can pay for it.

Given that one drives/rides a multi-million peso car, it doesn't mean you are insensitive. It just means you like to enjoy the money that you have. Of course, it doesn't mean the money is earned or stolen.

How about those people like Vandolph? Grew up with a silver spoon, gets away with murder.

pretty much this, he owns a ferrari so what get over it. just because nag hihirap ang iba gusto mo damay damay na? i really hate that filipino mentality. sabi nga nila "if you're born poor it's not your fault; but if you die poor, it is definitely your fault"

BTT: i don't think i can ever feed my family from stolen money, i believe in karma and don't want it to come back in any of my family members.
