In compliance with the Makati Revenue Code City Ordinance No. 2004-A-025 Sections 4 A.02 and 4 A.03, all individuals who work within the jurisdiction of Makati City are now being strictly required to obtain an Individual Mayor’s Permit (IMP) on an annual basis.

To make it convenient, while it is the responsibility of the individual to secure for this permit from the Makati City Hall, SGS will assist employees by centralizing the gathering of requirements and submitting these on your behalf.

Who: All employees working in Makati - regardless of status
When: MUST SUBMIT no later than March 26, 2014
Where: Submit all requirements to your supervisors. Supervisors to transmit to HR.
    What:
    1. Duly filled-out Individual Mayor’s Permit Application Form (attached)
    2. Copy of 2014 Community Tax Certificate (CTC - Sedula) issued by any city
    3. Copy of NBI or Police Clearance issued by any city

SGS will shoulder the cost of getting the IMP while CTC and Police Clearance Fees should be to your personal account.

ASSISTANCE PROVIDED: If you do not have CTC* or Police Clearance*, HR can secure these for you. Just fill-out the attached Authority to Deduct Form and we will get you a valid CTC from Makati City Hall and Police Clearance from Makati City Police. For the Police Clearance, kindly submit the attached PNP Clearance Application Form and attach your 2x2 picture.

Should the employee opt to process for his own CTC and NBI or Police Clearance or miss to submit the requirements on time, the employee will have to still secure for all these using his / her own time and resources.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your respective Supervisors or feel free to contact HR HelpDesk and we’d be glad to assist you.

(*) Makati Police Clearance Processing = Php 200.00
    (*) CTC cost = Php 5 + Php1.00 for every Php1,000 based on Gross Income + 6% Interest

IMP will be shouldered by the company.

another way to collect "revenues" legally?
every city i guess does the same.
in fact, this is being practiced already in our small city in La Union long before this makati memo is out.
even the lowly cigarette and candy vendors are required to have a mayor's permit before they can ply one's trade.
