Just a reminder to those driving to Makati tomorrow. Certain roads in the central business district of Makati City will be closed to traffic flow as early as 12 noon for a rally scheduled to gather starting at 3pm and officially start at 5pm.
If you really have to go to makati tomorrow, my prayers are with you that you arrive with with blood pressure still normal.

As most of you must have known by now, there will be an Interfaith Prayer Assembly tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 12,2008 from 12 noon up tp 10:00 p.m. .
In connection with this, as early as 9:30 a.m., a portion of Ayala Avenue, westbound direction from Makati Avenue to P. de Roxas, will be closed to traffic to give way to the construction of a stage infront of the Ninoy Aquino Statue at the corner of Ayala and Paseo de Roxas.
At 12 noon, both directions of Ayala from Sen. Puyat to Makati Avenue and P. de Roxas from Dela Rosa Streets will be closed to traffic until the duration of the rally.Last edited by ghosthunter; December 11th, 2008 at 04:53 PM.

for dramatic impact, perhaps? (the mere fact that they're holding it at one of the busiest intersections in the metro, in the middle of a commercial business district, at that, really escapes me)
and of course, to make it to the 6:30 pm news at 24 Oras and TV Patrol.
oo nga naman, no one watches the evening news on a saturday or sunday... everyone is at the malls or out of town
