vic magsaysay is the governor of zambales. hindi sya corrupt, good and very strict administraitor, PERO wala siya alam sa legislation. naupo na sya dati as assemblyman sa batasan pambansa during marcos' time, lagi sya absent kasi di daw nya alam gagawin nya dun. well that was 30 years ago, maybe this time he knows what to do.

I would rather vote for this three candidates for a new hopes in politics than those politician na tumanda na sa gobyerno pero walang maibigay na mabuti sa bayang tulad nina Pimentel, Osmena, Enrile, atbp.

i would definitely vote for vic magsaysay. he is the current governor of zambales and from what i gathered from the people of zambales (my wife is from this province) he is a very able administrator and has not been involved to any scandals whether corruption or personal. plus the fact that his uncle, ramon magsaysay is considered as the best president this country ever had.

as a backgrounder during magsaysay's presidency he instructed his cabinet officials to jail any of his relatives whom they will find to be involved on any illegal activities inside or outside of government. he even invited his officials to his family gatherings so that he can ask these officials to remember all their names and faces.

i am from zambales, and although i have not been home for some years, i am still very much informed of goings on in the province. tsimoso mga zambaleno and no secrets will remain secret there for very long.

this much i can say, in all the years vic magsaysay was governor and assemblyman no anomally has ever been linked to him. all roads in zambales are very good, even before. he is best known by zambalenos for his "in zambales we build good roads" policy. and not just roads, irrigation and water systems too.

the only thing that can possibly be negative is he turns a blind eye to jueteng simply because the mayors tell him that without it they (the mayors) will not have money for funerals, medical aid to constituents, etc. however he has never been linked to it nor has been rumored to be on the take.

for his profile go here>>> http://www.geocities.com/lppsec/govs/magsaysay.html

his business interests are listed here >>> http://www.i-site.ph/Databases/LGUs/...-business.html

    RE: Vic Magsaysay

He was the one I saw in one of the Imbestigador stories that stopped the dismantling team of the goverment to dismantle the illegal fishpens in Subic, Zambales.

Most Filipinos thinks that politics is a popularity contest. That's why, they don't consider the unknowns in choosing the candidates they would vote. Hence, most of the time, the trapos and celebrities emerged as the winners over the more qualified candidates.

Except for Petilla, who is the current governor of Leyte, I didn't know these candidates too. But I looked at their credentials and qualifications before judging.

These threads about the individual candidates are beneficial.
