The
Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) filed yesterday its manifestation of intent to run in next year’s party-list polls before the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, retired Philippine Basketball Association player
Chris Bolado and former Caloocan City mayor
Rey Malonzo, a martial artist, led the filing but they refused to say if they will be the group’s nominees in case it wins in the polls.
“Please support PBA because it will give priority to our young athletes. We need to help each other so that Philippine flags will be raised anywhere in the world. PBA will help athletes who need our assistance,” Pacquiao said.
