I was expecting Pacquiao to run for Congress but I didn't see this one coming, lmao. T'wouldn't be surprising to see Pacquiao get the nomination if this group wins in the polls.

Pacquiao leads athletes in filing for party-list polls

The Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) filed yesterday its manifestation of intent to run in next year’s party-list polls before the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, retired Philippine Basketball Association player Chris Bolado and former Caloocan City mayor Rey Malonzo, a martial artist, led the filing but they refused to say if they will be the group’s nominees in case it wins in the polls.

“Please support PBA because it will give priority to our young athletes. We need to help each other so that Philippine flags will be raised anywhere in the world. PBA will help athletes who need our assistance,” Pacquiao said.

^^ Akala ko tatakbo siya representing Sarangani, under his own People's Champ Party?

While I doubt Pacquiao's purpose and ability as a politician, at the very least he should retire from boxing first.

Elected officials IMO, owe it to the people to devote all their time to their duties.

Wag pa-absent-absent sa mga critical votes, tapos yun pala shooting ng movie or training for an upcoming match.
